I have been working with Ermysted’s Grammar School since 2017. We launched their first WordPress website in 2018 and recently relaunched the website in September 2024.
Ermysteds Grammar school is one of the oldest schools in the UK. With this in mind they needed a website to reflect their history, authority and reputation. Plus the ability to update it themselves with news, events and curriculum changes.
The new website features a video presentation on the homepage by https://billy.media/
The website has 80+ pages it uses an ICAL function so that parents can link their mobile calendars to the school’s and never forget a PTA meeting or school event ever again as well as registration forms, for the 11+ exam. A complex registration form was required. Built in Gravity Forms, the form needed to be secure, accessible and enable the parent to save content, upload images and approve the submission.

The original WordPress website in 2017 / 2018
The original colour scheme was navy in 2017. We updated the site in 2020 to use grey as the main colour.
